BOIL YOUR WATER BEFORE USING

Bring tap water to a rolling boil, boil for one minute, and cool before using.  Or use bottled water certified for sale by the Texas State Department of Health.  Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and preparing food until further notice.  

This boil Water Notice applies to everyone Lake Ridge Water System LP serves.

What Happened?

At about 11:45am on March 26, 2025, the water system lost pressure due to maintenance on the storage tank. When water mains lose pressure, the chance that untreated water and harmful microbes can enter your water increases.

Harmful microbes in drinking water can cause diarrhea, cramps, nausea, headaches, or other symptoms.  They may pose a unique health risk for infants, some elderly, and people with severely compromised immune systems.  However, these symptoms are not just cause by microbes in drinking water. If you experience any of these symptoms and they persist, you should seek medical advice.

What is being done?

The system lost a pressure while doing maintenance to the storage tank.  Water lines will be flush and water samples will be taken and send for routine testing.

You will likely need to boil water for 3 days until the problem is fixed.  You will be informed when tests show that you no longer need to boil your water.  Large signs will be posted throughout the subdivision.

To register:

• Before you begin, make sure you have your current bill in hand because you must enter your name and account information exactly as it appears on the bill. (If any information is incorrect, you must contact your utility office through their preferred method.)
• To begin the registration process, go to LRW.viewmybill.net and click the Register link. However, this will not allow you to see your bill until the utility company does your next billing. After you submit your registration, you will receive an email where you must click the link to activate your account. At this point, you can login to your account and view your balance (but not your bill yet).
• After the next billing, you will receive an email notifying you that your bill is ready to be viewed.
• Once you have received your first bill, you can click the link and login with your email address and password to view your bill. If you wish, you can pay your bill from your account screen. You will need your company ID 7874611 and your account number off your latest bill.

To make a payment without registering, go to the Unregistered Users section at the top left, and click the Click Here link. You will need your company ID 7874611 and your account number off your latest bill.

When you sign up for Online Billing Services you will receive a monthly email notification when your bill is ready for viewing.  No more bills to file or shred!!  Simply register for Online Billing Services and you will have instant access to your account information.

(Please be aware that you will have the option to still receive a paper bill when you register. If you opt out of receiving a paper bill, you will be able to print a copy of your bill from the website.)
